Salt sessions

The Salt Grotto is fully built from salt: walls and floor are salt, and the water in the pond is salty too. We use specially prepared medicinal salt containing iodine, magnesium, manganese, and calcium.

The constant temperature of about 20°C promotes well-being. High humidity around 70% reduces water evaporation from the respiratory tract, effectively preventing drying of the mucous membranes in the upper airways.

The air’s sodium chloride content has antibacterial and antifungal effects, making the air in the Grotto 10 times cleaner than surrounding air. Increased oxygen pressure is also observed, which promotes better oxygen absorption into the blood and improves body oxygenation.

Staying in the Salt Grotto improves physical and health condition and supports treatment of some ailments such as:
