Brenna is a secluded town near Wisła, Szczyrk, and Ustroń. What sets us apart? Quiet, peace, and low tourist density, so no traffic jams when arriving at our hotel. The hotel is right by several hiking trails perfect for walking. Looking out the hotel window, you’ll see forests and the Brennica river flowing seven meters from the hotel, but what will surprise you is our beach in the Beskid Mountains. Thanks to it, guests feel like they’re on a foreign holiday. But the hotel is not all—we’ll also show you attractions in Brenna!
Ski Slopes
Ski Dolina
6.3KM (~6 MIN BY CAR)
Modern 4-seat Doppelmayr chairlift, 800 m long, with a vertical drop of 200 m. T-bar lift, 600 m long. Close to 2 km of ski slopes with varying difficulty: the main run (1,000 m long) and an additional blue run (600 m long) (from the Świniorka peak and served by a T-bar). All slopes are equipped with a modern snowmaking system and lighting, ensuring comfortable skiing conditions.
Reindeer Zone for the little ones—two conveyor belt lifts, a snowtubing track, a toboggan run, and a pontoon carousel.

Stary Groń
300M to slope (beside hotel; from exit)
Stary Groń Lift: This exceptional slope is right next to the Kotarz hotel. You can see it from our windows. Access is quick and easy. It is a single T-bar lift located on the north-facing slope of Stary Groń, with a vertical drop of 138 m and a capacity of 600 people/hour. On a very wide forest clearing, there is a downhill run 635 m long—intended for intermediate and advanced skiers who enjoy stronger thrills. Near the lift you’ll find a ski equipment rental, a bar-restaurant serving hot meals and drinks, and free parking. Skiing is possible after dark with artificial lighting. The slopes are prepared by a snowcat (ratrack). In addition, winter ski competitions are held on the slope as part of the Beskidzkie Gronie Cup, ski-bob cup events, the prestigious Puchar Wójta Gminy Brenna (Mayor of the Brenna Commune Cup), and there is also an option to arrange competitions on request for clients.

Czantoria Ustroń
DISTANCE FROM THE HOTEL: 15KM, 22 MIN
Czantoria Cable Railway in Ustroń – a ski resort located in Ustroń in the Silesian Beskids on the north-facing slope of Wielka Czantoria. The top station is on the Stokłosica meadow, at an altitude of 851 m above sea level. Czantoria is the most popular peak of the Silesian Beskids, with the most modern lift. The four-seat chairlifts and the speed-reduction system for boarding and exiting are a major advantage, helping even people with disabilities feel safe during the ride. The chairs are also equipped with special handles to transport bicycles to the top station. Each year, the cable railway provides thousands of tourists with easy and quick access to the upper parts of the Beskids. Currently, it is the most modern chairlift in the Polish part of the Beskids. The Czantoria Cable Railway is very well known both in the region and throughout Poland. Increasingly, it is also visited by international tourists.

Alpakia
Alpakia is a charming place located in Górki near Brenna, where you can meet and closely observe alpacas. Alpacas are adorable and friendly animals from South America, known for their soft wool and calm nature. This is a perfect attraction for both children and adults looking to experience close contact with these lovely creatures. It is a unique place that will delight animal and nature lovers.
Goat Farm
Kozia Zagroda is a reconstructed mountain cottage full of surprises. In the farmstead, you can see goats and taste dishes based on old regional recipes.
You can try francka, lamb, and original sauerkraut soup, enjoy liqueurs and honey, and learn what a sałasz is and who the Wałasi were. Many children will enjoy feeding and petting the goats.

In the center of Brenna, there is a special training route for Nordic Walking, allowing you to get acquainted with this form of active leisure and prepare for proper practice of this recreational discipline. The over 2 km-long trail is marked and equipped with informational and directional boards, also translated into English and Czech. It's a great opportunity to discover Nordic Walking and enjoy the benefits of this outdoor activity.
Bread Cottage
Just 8 minutes' drive from Hotel Kotarz is Chlebowa Chata – a unique place where you can step back into an old Beskid village. During your visit, you'll see how bread is baked and butter is made, and you'll also taste honey and traditional flatbreads.

Bat Observatory
The Bat Observatory is a unique place that transports us into the world of mysterious flying mammals. It is the only place in Poland that allows us not only to explore their fascinating appearance but also to hear their unique sounds. It is perfect for anyone wanting to learn more about these extraordinary animals and understand their vital role in the ecosystem. The observatory is open during the bats' presence in the school attic from May to the end of September.
Brenna Tourism Park
Located right next to the Park Entertainment Hotel. The main feature of the Park is the amphitheater, hosting the biggest events in Břeň like the Midsummer Night. There is also a sports offer here, with full-sized football, basketball or volleyball courts with artificial surfaces, and a beach volleyball court.
